Marion's Art in the Park 2017

Marion's 39th Annual Art in the Park and Craft Show is Saturday, September 16th from 9 am to 5 pm, in beautiful shady Central Park, downtown Marion, Kansas!

All the favorites will be on hand, from ceramics, woodcrafts, leatherworks, bath and body products, tye dye and local honey! Upcycled or repurposed items are back by popular demand.

We are very excited to introduce Vintage Linen Clothing from Magnolia, Arkansas! These one of a kind items are made from vintage/antique linens. Don’t miss this booth!

New this year from Iowa Falls, Iowa, is “The Zipper Pouch People.” Very cool handmade fabric zipper pouches, headbands, and lip balm cozies.

You will want to stop by “Wolves Pride Crafts” booth from Canton. They make “calm down” bottles for children. They also have a sand art station, face painting, and painted tattoos!

“TreeMendous Treasures” is returning from Winfield. Check out their tiered trays and spirit lamps!

The Tin Shed is coming from Clay Center! Find them on Facebook and check out the unique items!

Our food court will offer your favorite event items, including bierocks made the day of the show, barbeque, fresh squeezed cherry limeades, stuffed cucumbers, grilled chicken salad, pie, ice cream, and more.

Register to win a $20.00 gift certificate, courtesy of Marion Parks & Recreation. Ten certificates will be given away at 4 p.m., and may be used at any booth before the close of the show.

Parking is not a problem with a free shuttle bus service departing every 15 minutes from parking lots located at Marion Die and Fixture, 421 W. Main, and the Marion Baseball Complex on Eisenhower Drive, just off U.S. 56 by the former Pizza Hut.

Bring the whole family! For more information, please call Marion Parks & Recreation at 620-382-3425, or check the web site at:
