Drums Across Kansas brings drums corps from all around the country to BG Veterans Sports Complex for the 2nd year in a row on July 17th. The corps travel the country to end up at the DCI World Championships in Indianapolis, IN. Tickets are for sale now!

Dam Music Festival

Head out for two days of music, sand, and sun as the first annual Dam Music Festival makes its way to El Dorado Lake July 28th-29th. Enjoy the lake and all its amenities during the day, and then prepare for national artists performing under the stars in the evening.

There’s something for everyone; two nights of music while during the daytime a DJ will keep the good times rolling by the water. Dam Music Festival is teaming up with local charities to make a difference while having a great time.

Shrine Bowl

BG Veterans Sports Complex (392-420 SW Haverhill Rd, El Dorado, KS 67042)

The Kansas Shrine Bowl is a non-profit charity raising funds and awareness for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. The Shrine Bowl has been in existence since 1974 hosting one of the most prestigious high school football all-star games in the nation. Since its inception it has been promoting Kansas talent and the incredible network of hospitals raising over 2.5 million dollars.

Each player selected has the opportunity to play in one of the highest regarded all-star games in the nation with a worthy cause. All players will be representing their high school, the Kansas Shrine Bowl and most importantly the Shriners Hospitals for Children and their patients. All proceeds from the game go to benefit the network of 22 hospitals.

The Kansas Shrine Bowl will take place for the 44th time at BG Products Sports Complex in El Dorado Kansas.  Game time will be at 7:00 p.m. on July 29th.  Enjoy other events throughout the week leading up to the game including at golf tournament, parade, junior all-start challenge and much more!

Lantern Festival

Returning to El Dorado Lake for the 3rd year in a row, the Lantern Fest is a night of pure magic! Thousands of people head out to enjoy a night of music, s’mores, dancing and when night comes the lanterns will light up the sky with memories, regrets and dreams. Tickets on sale soon!

El Dorado Oktoberfest

September 22

Join us in Downtown El Dorado on the 100 block of W. Ash and use the streets as your dance floor on Friday, September 22nd! Start the weekend off right with the 5K Fun Run, Bike and Walk. Then join us for live entertainment provided by multiple musical acts. Local food fare will be on site including the infamous “Brat Bar!” Enjoy a variety of refreshing beers featuring Walnut River Brewery and Demo Sales products. Kid friendly snacks and beverages will also be provided and we will have pretzel necklaces for all!
