This March, you can celebrate the annual Lindsborg Våffeldagen (“voh-full-doggen”), which is Swedish for Waffle Day. This yearly Scandinavian tradition ushers in the Spring season. Head to Lindsborg to enjoy hot waffles and treats for their 14th celebration on Saturday, March 23.
The day consists of a full day of eating waffles, singing waffle songs and wearing waffle t-shirts, garments and accessories. While you’re in Lindsborg, shop at local stores, galleries and coffee shops such as Blacksmith Coffee Shop & Roastery. There will be waffle games, crafts and jokes. This is a can’t-miss event.
